Gold People’s Choice Award Winners of the Smiley Charity Film Awards 2024

This film highlights the support Helen and Jessica got from PANS PANDAS UK after the long road to Jessica’s diagnosis. It helped the charity raise awareness, donations, and volunteers to their cause.

Scorpion Glasses

An experimental non chronological narrative film made during my first year Manchester Metropolitan University.

Eliza lives in the past, using VR glasses to replay happier memories. When they start to malfunction, she struggles to let go.

The Noble Lie

Role – Director

A narrative short film created during my second year at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Carter is forced to choose between his future and his integrity when a housemate blackmails him into concealing a crime.

Strike A Chord

Client – English Folk Expo

Role – Videographer and Editor

A short documentary commissioned by English Folk Expo to showcase the Rochdale Folk Festival.

Created as part of Hazel Watson’s MA dissertation on folk music and sustainability.

Reality++

My first ever short film. Shot on a Canon EOD2000D with the help of a couple of friends.

A lazy computer programmer is sent a powerful software that can manipulate reality. But, as they say, if it looks too good to be true…

Steve’s Story

Client – NASS (National Axial Spondyloarthritis Association)

Role – Videographer and Editor

One of my first commissioned films.

The short documentary aims to highlight the long wait to receive a diagnosis for axial SpA and the impact it has on the lives of those who suffer from it. It was successfully used by NASS to petition politicians and policy makers for changes to NHS diagnosis procedures.

Art School Live 2021

Role – Director and Vision Mixer

A multi day live broadcast music festival at Manchester School of Art.

I set up multicamera positions and directed camera operators live while vision mixing the broadcasts of Natalie McCool, Hyperdawn, and Nii using a BlackMagic ATEM Extreme and OBS.
